Who we are

AR Distribution is a specialist, trade-only distributor of musical instrument accessories and bowed orchestral stringed instruments. Founded by Allyxa Ruby, we’ve been trading in the UK since 2001. Allyxa plays the cello and has a master's degree in Practical Bowed Strings Teaching.

We work closely with suppliers and customers to carry a range of products that performs exceptionally well for real players. The makers we partner with keep musicians’ needs as the focus of their products.

How we work

• Service that goes above and beyond. We aim to be friendly, responsive, practical and easy to deal with for shops and luthiers.
• Carefully chosen brands. We represent makers and products we use ourselves, so we can answer questions knowledgeably.
• Ethical production. We place importance on working with suppliers who produce responsibly.

Who we supply

We’re a trade-only distributor. If you’re a retailer or luthier, we’d love to help you source the right products and keep your players happy.
