Launching in October 2026, CECILIA Artist Reserve introduces two distinct premium formulas for musicians seeking heightened clarity, controlled traction and a more refined connection between bow and string. Prima focuses on tonal transparency and openness, while Divinum adds greater grip and power on demand through its dedicated Performance Core.
Both formulas are presented on a precision-engineered reusable Artist Reserve base, allowing the rosin to be replaced when used, damaged, or when the player wishes to change formula — while retaining the base itself.

Artist Reserve has been developed as a new expression within the CECILIA collection rather than simply another variation of an existing formula. Both versions place the emphasis on clarity, controlled traction and refined response, but each offers a distinctly different musical character.
Choose Prima for tonal transparency, openness and pure response, or Divinum when you want the same refinement with additional grip and power available under increased bow pressure.
Prima
Prima is designed to reveal the instrument's natural tonal character with greater clarity and openness. Its response remains pure and focused without introducing an artificial sense of brightness or edge, allowing the sound of the instrument and the player's own musical intention to remain at the centre.
A rosin designed to be kept
Artist Reserve introduces a different approach to the traditional rosin cake. Its precision-engineered base is intended to remain with the musician, while the rosin itself can be renewed.
- Replace: renew the rosin when the original cake has been used or damaged.
- Change: move between Prima and Divinum without replacing the reusable base.
- Keep: the precision-machined base, tactile knurled edge and engraved metal detailing are designed as a lasting performance object.
Formula, form and continuity are brought together in a system designed to evolve with the player.
