Handmade in Germany, FIEDLER CARBONMETAL endpins combine a solid metal core with a hand-applied carbon-fibre wrap. Choose Copper, Brass or Titanium to explore different combinations of projection, richness, clarity and response. All three versions are precision-ground to 10 mm.

Within the CARBONMETAL family, Copper provides a big, energetic sound with increased volume and projection. It has a lively, focused and clear character, with a crisp-feeling response.

Brass adds richness and power and can suit an overly lively instrument. Its sound is focused and darker than Copper, with the carbon wrap helping to keep the overall weight down.

Copper, Brass or Titanium?

Copper Power & projection

Big, energetic and focused, with a crisp response. The most overtly soloistic choice within the range.

Brass Richness & weight

Focused and darker than Copper, adding richness and power while the carbon wrap helps reduce overall weight.

Titanium Clarity & brilliance

Lighter and crisper in character, with focused clarity, a faster-feeling response and some warmth from the carbon finish.

Installation & hardware

Fit, buttons & Bender fittings

For best results: CARBONMETAL endpins are designed around a 10 mm diameter and work particularly well with a Bender-style end button using circumferential clamping. Ensure the spike seats securely and is kept sharp or protected as appropriate.

Bender aluminium endpin fittings

AR Distribution also carries Bender aluminium cello endpin fittings in 23.5 mm, 25 mm, 26.5 mm and 28 mm diameters.

Bender collet nuts

Collet nuts are also available in aluminium, brass and bronze.
