Warchal initially explored a metal A as a durable alternative during development of the BRILLIANT cello set.
Once the durability issue with the synthetic A had been resolved, the metal version nevertheless continued to produce excellent results with players, so Warchal retained it in the range under the name PROTOTYPE.
It offers strong projection, clean starts and a confident feel under the bow.
